Tuscany has an artistic heritage unique in the world. Florence is one of the most important artistic centers, it is often nicknamed the “Palace of Italian Art”.
C’est l’endroit idéal pour profiter de vos vacances en alliant séjour culturel et Dolce Vita !

The region is home to the greatest concentration of Renaissance art. Painters such as Cimabue and Giotto, the fathers of Italian painting, lived in Florence and in Tuscany, as well as Arnolfo and Andrea Pisano, innovators of architecture and sculpture; Brunelleschi, Donatello and Masaccio, ancestors of the Renaissance; Ghiberti and the Della Robbias, Filippo Lippi and Angelico; Botticelli, Paolo Uccello and the universal genius of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo.
The region has many museums and art galleries, many of them housing some of the most valuable works of art in the world. These museums include the Uffizi, which houses The Birth of Venus by Botticelli, the Pitti Palace and the Bargello, to name a few. Most of Tuscany's frescoes, sculptures and paintings are found in the many churches and cathedrals of the region, such as Florence Cathedral, Siena Cathedral, Pisa Cathedral and the Collegiata di San Gimignano.
