The Spiaggia di Baratti is a beautiful beach located in the Gulf of Baratti, near the town of Piombino. It is a rather quiet beach in the well sheltered bay. The beach is divided into a public area (free) and a private area. In the latter, you can paddle or pedal boat with a small slide. Be careful, you may have the bad surprise to discover that the toilets are not free. The view is however pleasant.

3. Spiaggia di Marina di Alberese

The Spiaggia di Marina di Alberese is a long sandy beach located in the Maremma Natural Park in Tuscany. 5. Spiaggia di Cala del Gesso

Cala del Gesso is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany, situated on the Argentario promontory. It is popular for diving and snorkeling, with a cove of smooth rocks and a rich seabed. It's possible to get there by boat or car, but it's important to note that access by road requires a walk of around 700 meters on a surfaced path and a rather steep staircase (beware of falls!). We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring provisions, as the beach is not equipped with a restaurant.

6. Spiaggia di Cala Felice

Discover Cala Feliceis an exclusive cove in the Maremma of Grosseto, located in the municipality of Scarlino and one of the three coves of the Cale Park, along with Cala Violina and Cala Martina. This natural setting is ideal for snorkeling with its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life in the golfe of Follonica. For gourmands, an establishment with bar and restaurant offers the essentials for snacks. Feel free to explore the rocky seabed and observe fish such as sea bass, sole, blennies, mullet, sea bream, sea bass, sea bream, crustaceans, molluscs and many other marine life for a unique swimming experience!

Note, however, that the beach is quasi-private to the restaurant that borders it (watch the video)... which might delight some to drink a nice fresh white Chianti while looking at the sea!

7. Spiaggia di Cala del Turco

Surrounded by mountains, this natural beach offers breathtaking views of small bays, crystal-clear turquoise water and rocks. Special footwear is recommended to explore this rocky beach, which is suitable for solo travelers and those seeking a relaxing break. Cala del Turco is easy to get to, with the road less than 500 meters away and parking less than 300 meters away... but from there, access is more difficult. There's no infrastructure on this wild beach, so it's ideal for those looking for a relaxing experience. secluded beach even in high season... you won't have to share the sand to put your towel on! Not bad for diving, as it's not very busy.

8. Spiaggia di Cala dei Frati

Cala dei Frati is a small beach 100 meters long, 2 to 10 meters wide, located between the beaches of Ghiaie and Padulella. It faces north-east, well protected from the sirocco winds, but receives little sunshine due to morning and afternoon shade. It is composed of polished white pebbles and coarse-grained white sand, with a seabed characterized by brown rocks, giving the water an astonishing transparency. At times, the cove is reminiscent of Caribbean beaches. The view is magnificent, stretching from the fortresses of Portoferraio to the eastern part of the island, dominated by Monte Grosso. There are no services on the beach (restaurant, WC, etc.). Access to the beach is difficult, and only possible by sea.
